Salah satu unsur hara yang dibutuhkan dalam jumlah yang tidak sedikit ialah nitrogen. Keberadaan nitrogen di alam dalam bentuk gas sangatlah banyak, namun tidak bisa terserap oleh tanaman. Oleh karenanya, unsur N (nitrogen) perlu diubah dari N2 menjadi N3 terlebih dahulu. Demak Jesiga, S.P dan Penyuluh pertanian Syahri, STP pada hari Selasa (17\/10). Pembuatan nitrobacter tersebut diperbanyak dengan cara mencampurkan biang bakteri 5 liter ke dalam 150 liter air yang sebelumnya telah dituangkan 1,5 liter tetes tebu dan 3 kg urea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kemudian difermentasi secara aerob selama minimal 1 minggu. Untuk mengetahui nitrobacter sudah \u201cmatang\u201d biasanya ditandai dengan aroma semerbak khas fermentasi.
